Privacy Policy — Aera Logistics Pro

Your account details — your name, email address, phone number and the company and role you sign in under. Used to sign you in and to show you only what your role allows.

The work you handle — shipments, containers, vehicles, jobs, invoices, payments and support tickets that belong to your company, or that your Aera role lets you see. The app reads and updates these records on Aera’s servers; it does not keep its own copy beyond a short-lived cache.

Photographs and documents you add — pictures of vehicles and shipping documents, and files you attach (PDFs and images). Only when you choose to add one. They are stored against the shipment, vehicle, job, invoice or ticket you added them to.

Camera and photo library — used only when you tap to take or pick a photograph. Nothing is captured in the background.

Face ID / fingerprint — if you turn it on, your phone checks your face or fingerprint itself. We never receive biometric data; the app only learns whether the check passed.

Push notification token — an identifier issued by Apple or Google, so we can tell you when something needs you. It identifies a device, not a person, and is removed when you sign out.

• We do not collect your location. The app has no location permission. Staff can see a delivery driver’s position on a map; that position comes from the separate Aera Driver app, not from this one.
• We do not sell or rent your data.
• There is no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking in the app.
• We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Aera staff, according to their role and permissions; and the people at your own company whose role allows it. Vendors and business partners never see each other’s records, and customer contact details are not shown to vendors or partners.

Shipment, vehicle, job and financial records, with their photographs and documents, are kept as the record of work performed and of money owed and paid, for as long as UAE record-keeping rules require.

Your login belongs to your company or to Aera, so ask your company’s account owner or Aera to close it, or email us. A closed login is deactivated on every device and its notification tokens are removed. Business records remain, for the reasons above.

Traffic between the app and our servers uses HTTPS. Your sign-in token is held in the device keychain (iOS) or keystore (Android). Links to documents and photographs are signed and expire.

The app is for adults using it for work and is not directed at children.
